Lime Whipped Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp Lime juice
  • 1 tsp lime zest packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream cold
  • 1/4 powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Pour the chilled heavy cream, lime juice, lime zest, vanilla bean paste, and powdered sugar into the chilled mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat the cream on medium speed until everything is well incorporated.
  • Increase the speed to medium-high and continue whipping until stiff peaks form. This means that when you lift the beaters, the whipped cream should hold its shape and not fall over. Pro tip. Check the beaters for any “left behind” lime zest. Add that lime zest back to the whip cream.
  • Use the whipped cream immediately or chill in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
